But Don't forget the roots of hip-hop, in latinamerica there is a big movement of hip-hop talking about people problems, I think is a way to express disconformity, like punk, but the capitalism has converted to a who has bigger situation as it always does with everything: Artists, companies, science, etc.
The reggeaton is a sample of how hip-hop is taken like commercial music in latinamerica vs the real street hophop like Akil Ammar, Bocafloja, Skoll77, Actitud Maria Marta and many other cool artists :) -
